Expansion Announced: UBA to Add Two Teams Following the 2006 WCS

Office of the Commissioner, Exton, PA, February 28th, 2006. After much debate throughout the offseason, the GMs and owners of the UBA have agreed to expand by two teams following the 2006 World Championship Series. While not all details have been made public, sources can confirm that both the Aaron Conference and the Ruth Conference will each add one team.

The bidding process has begun by cities which do not have a baseball team currently to take on the expansion teams. Finalist cities include: San Francisco, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Nashville, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Orlando, and Charlotte.
