With a 10-0 win to wrap up the series at Ballpark of Wilkins Township, the Plano Big Train have eliminated the Marshall Crush in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2.

Plano controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 3-0 sweep.

Ron Gordon led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .750 batting average, along with a .786 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs.

"We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."

The Plano Big Train don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Amarillo Bulls - Odessa Mighty Bass series. Odessa leads the series 2 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
