Rebels Absorb 13-2 Loss at Salesforce Field
Javier Soto left his imprint on the 13-2 San Francisco win against the Charleston Rebels. Soto, who is tied for 8th in the RC in triples with 6, went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Dirk Neal, the winner, improved to 9-2. He held the Rebels to 2 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 3. San Francisco now has a record of 75-51 with the win.

The Spartans got an important contribution from right fielder Eddie Clark, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 2-2 cutter into left-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 10th triple of the season and put the Spartans ahead, 6-2.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Clark.
