Bandits Nip Red Hawks, 3-2
|
The Atlanta Bandits eked out a 3-2 win versus the Fargo Red Hawks at AFLAC Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Toni Hagman. He was terrific. This win makes it 8 in a row for Atlanta.
Atlanta won the game in the bottom of the 16th inning. With no outs and Broderick Estades on the mound for Fargo, catcher Mario García hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Bandits fans to their feet.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Hagman after the game.
