Brown Blanks Galveston, 5-0
|
It wasn't easy but Ronald Brown made it look that way.
Brown silenced the Galveston Psychos, 5-0, in a Saint Augustine Angels triumph at Shiremanstown Grounds today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Brown said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 3 hits.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
Currently Brown has a 11-4 won-lost record in 16 starts with a 2.07 ERA. He also has 79 strikeouts in 117.2 innings.
