Number 2000 for Hiura Friday, June 16th , 2028 Keston Hiura started out as a baby-faced rookie many seasons ago. Yesterday at Ballpark of San Antonio the San Antonio veteran joined the league's 2000-hit club. Hiura achieved that milestone with a 2-for-5 day in the Armadillos 7-5 win over the Holbrook Hawks. He spoke to reporters in the clubhouse after the game and said, "Looking at the list of all the great players who have done this is humbling. It is a great honor to be among them."
