UBA News: Draft Pool Revealed Saturday, April 16th, 2011 United Baseball Association officials have today announced the list of players eligible for the 2011 first-year player draft. Teams now have a chance to scout the draft pool for 60 days before the draft is held. Also, the Transactions page gets a new section dedicated to the pool. The top players available (in no particular order) seem to be: 1. Austin Ross, 22 year-old RHP out of college. 2. Ray White, 23 year-old CF out of college. 3. Corey Thompson, 21 year-old 1B out of college. 4. Luis Marquez, 22 year-old 2B out of college. 5. P.J. Polk, 22 year-old CF out of college. 6. Lovesquis Santana, 23 year-old RF out of college. 7. Angel Cuan, 21 year-old LHP out of college. 8. Brent Powers, 21 year-old LHP out of college. 9. Matt Parish, 21 year-old SS out of college. 10. Kyle Hald, 21 year-old LHP out of college.
