Albies 5-for-5 for Generals Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Washington's 6-3 win over Atlanta today, second baseman Ozhaino Albies was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at AFLAC Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Albies said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Ozhaino Albies doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Dustin May in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
