Beltre Reaches 3000 Sunday, May 24th, 2015 For Adrian Beltre, it was a red-letter day. The Philadelphia Brotherhood third baseman slapped his 3000th career hit. That his team defeated the Florida Flamingos, 4-2, made it even sweeter. His manager paid tribute to Beltre after the game: "I've followed Adrian since he came into the league," he said. "Fine ballplayer. Fine work ethic. I'm not surprised by what he's achieved." The 36-year-old Beltre finished the day with 1 hit in 4 at-bats.
