Stars End Knight's Streak Wednesday, May 7th , 2031 Tony Knight, right fielder for the Seattle Steelheads, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 3 tries against the Hollywood Stars today. Not only did the Stars break his 22-game hitting streak, they also beat Seattle by the score of 5-2. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Knight said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Presently Knight is hitting .299 with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 29 games and scored 19 times. |
