RC Outstanding Skipper Award Given to Montgomery Friday, November 18th, 2011 Matthew Montgomery, skipper of the Charleston Rebels, was voted 2011 Ruth Conference Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided Charleston to first place in the Ruth Conference East Division with a 105-57 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference, "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit." |
