$53,730,000 Lands SP Zambrano for Bees Wednesday, January 15th, 2014 Salt Lake fans were pleased with the signing of Carlos Zambrano today. The 32-year-old inked a 3-year, $53,730,000 deal with the Bees. Though his numbers don't jump out at you, Zambrano does fill a void for Salt Lake, according to several respected analysts. Zambrano has a career 117-87 mark with a 3.14 ERA. He has fanned 1894 batters, issued 624 walks, pitched 1871 innings and limited the opposition to a .240 batting average. |
