Great Week for Gobbler's Knob's Wes Helms Monday, April 14th, 2008 At the age of 31, Wes Helms might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Gobbler's Knob shortstop put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .417 batting average. For his efforts Helms collected the Aaron Conference Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 5 games. |
