Curtis Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, April 19th , 2033 Matt Curtis of the Tijuana Smugglers tagged 1 hit in today's 14-2 loss to the Everett Hawks at Buffaloes Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Matt Curtis flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Curtis is hitting .324 in 2033 with 6 RBIs and 1 home run. |
