Veterans End Curtis's Streak Wednesday, April 20th , 2033 Lady Luck was not on the side of Matt Curtis or his teammates today at Veterans Ballpark. Everything went the way of the Tucson Veterans, who not only came away with the 14-6 victory over Tijuana, but also held Curtis hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Curtis said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Currently Curtis is batting .293 with 1 home run and 6 RBIs. |
