Year Over for Santos Crummy
Saturday, June 19th , 2032
The doctors have spoken and Andre Crummy of the Havana Santos didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Crummy sustained his season-ending injury during the Cienfuegos Warlords game yesterday at Ballpark of South Lyon. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Havana medical staff reported Crummy had a fractured coracoid bone in his shoulder and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months.
This year his stats show Crummy has 4 saves in 10 relief appearances with a 2-1 mark and 4.35 ERA. He has struck out 5 batters and issued 7 walks in 10.1 innings. Opposing clubs have a .325 against him.
