Bad Behavior Costs Coleman and García Wednesday, August 25th , 2032 Yesterday at Cream Puffs Ballpark Sidney Coleman and Mario García got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Puerto Padre Cream Puffs and Santiago de Cuba Foxhounds. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Coleman will have to sit out 4 while García would be given a 8-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. This year Coleman has collected a .287 batting average to date with 110 hits in 383 at-bats, 38 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 50 times. He has played in 101 games. For the season, García has a record of 5 wins and 1 loss in 10 appearances. He has an ERA of 3.74 and has fanned 71 batters in 67.1 innings. |
