Mississauga Crowned Kings of the Eastern Canada League West Division Sunday, September 5th , 2032 The Mississauga Sunrays have held off the opposition and are Eastern Canada League West Division champions. It was certainly no easy task as the club had a tough challenge for the division crown throughout the year, but in the end they have prevailed for the franchise's 10th division title. "You can't get complacent when the standings are as close as they are, so our guys have been focused," manager Nathan Haynes said of his team's triumph. "We're going to celebrate this one, that's for sure." The club will be going for its 5th Round 2 and optimism is running high. "Why not us? We can certainly win this thing," said reliever Marvin Hutchinson. |
