Woods Keeps Hit Streak Alive Tuesday, July 6th , 2032 Ralph Woods extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the St. Petersburg 6-5 triumph over the Santa Rosa Riptide. The 23-year-old Wizards center fielder collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Ralph Woods was hit by a pitch in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and walked in the 10th. This season Woods is hitting .384 with no home runs. |
