Super Swinger -- Park Slams 5 Hits Monday, August 30th , 2032 Chan-u Park did a number on the Swans in the Nassau 6-0 victory today, and the number was 5. The Sand Sharks right fielder banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Swans Ballpark to lead his club past the Mayaguez Swans. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Chan-u Park singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the season Park is currently batting .312 with 5 home runs and 28 RBIs. In 59 games he has reached base at a .384 rate and scored 23 runs to date. |
