Akron Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Sunday, August 22nd , 2032 Any small glimmer of hope that the Akron AA's might have had that they could make a miracle turnaround and win their way into relevancy has been extinguished. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2026. In total, the AA's have missed the playoffs 25 times in their 38-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the AA's have only made the playoffs once. Akron has won the Round 2 2 times in their history. |
