Williams Tosses Shutout Against Marauders Wednesday, August 25th , 2032 Racine Rough Riders hurler Keith Williams was at his best as he beat the Grand Marais Marauders, 14-0. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Grand Marais manager David Genao. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Williams fired a 2-hitter and totaled 8 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout performance. So far this year Williams has made 6 starts, tossed 51.1 innings, struck out 50 batters and walked 12. His record is 5-1 with a 1.40 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .161 batting average. |
