Super Swinger -- Dickson Slams 5 Hits Monday, April 25th , 2033 All game long, Akron's Horace Dickson was rattling the walls at Tewksbury Grounds and banging out base hits against the Green Bay Buccaneers. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the AA's had a 12-11 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 21-year-old second baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Horace Dickson grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Lawrence Baker in the 6th, struck out in the 9th, grounded out in the 12th, singled in the 14th, singled in the 15th and hit an RBI single in the 17th. This season in 7 games, Dickson has hit at a .469 clip with 15 hits, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
