Home Field Advantage: Andrés, Seattle Open Top Ten Series with Win
|
The Seattle Steelheads downed the Hollywood Stars, 4-0, in Game 1 of the Top Ten Series. Jorge Andrés was a key factor. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The win puts Seattle up, 1-0, in the series.
Though he did not get the decision, Andrés did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 6.1 innings, until Seattle eventually rallied past the Stars.
"I believe in our guys," said Seattle skipper Brad Lidge. "I like the energy they're playing with."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of LA in Los Angeles.
