Barrage Dealt 5-1 Home Loss
|
Seattle rode a fine outing from starter Alonso Cabrera to victory over the Cardiff Bay Barrage at Barrage Field. The final score was 5-1. In 6.2 innings, Cabrera surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. The last-place Barrage have lost 4 straight games.
Seattle used the bat of Anthony Bostock to capture the win. The designated hitter jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Steelheads ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Cabrera.
