Bandits Tack 5-4 Loss on Baseball Club
|
Atlanta rode a decent outing from starter D.L. Hall to victory over the New York City Baseball Club. The final score was 5-4. Cristián García recorded his 27th save for Atlanta. The loss makes New York City 69-60.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Milanni Tabua? The Atlanta first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bandits on top, 5-0. For the game, Tabua had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Atlanta manager Brandon Wood.
