Ducks Stop Bees, 4-2
|
Getting an impressive start from Andrew Holt, Oregon beat Salt Lake by the score of 4-2. Today's win puts Oregon at 51-84, while Salt Lake falls to 70-66.
Oregon first baseman Josh Naylor contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a changeup into right field for a 2-run single. It was his 115th hit of the season and put the Ducks ahead, 3-1.
Salt Lake manager Manny Acosta said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
