Harris K's 13 En Route to 3-2 Hawks Win
|
The Holbrook Hawks eked out a 3-2 win versus the Pittsburgh Champions at Champions Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Richard Harris. He was terrific. The save went to Tim Murphy, his 3rd this season. Pittsburgh falls to 8-8.
Harris, the winner, is now 2-1 after putting the clamps on the Pittsburgh offense. In 7.1 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while collecting 13 Ks.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Pittsburgh manager Johnny Damon. "The effort was great."
