The Hollywood Stars beat the Oregon Ducks, 9-1. Hollywood pitcher and Detroit, Michigan, native Ernest Langley led the way. Langley, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 5 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. The victory gives Hollywood a record of 19-15.
Yordan Alvarez had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the fifth for Hollywood. With the bases loaded and the Stars leading 5-0, he hit a 2-run single.
