Brotherhood Collect 12-8 Win Over Moon Walkers
|
The Philadelphia Brotherhood beat the Columbus Moon Walkers, 12-8, at Moon Walkers Ballpark. Jurickson Profar, in particular, was impressive. He went 4-7 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Columbus has now lost 9 consecutive games.
Martín García was 4 for 6 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times for Philadelphia. The 12-year veteran had a key at-bat in the top of the 12th. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off António Maldonado. It was his 90th RBI of the season.
"Our team showed some spunk," said García.
