Nicholson Fires 4-0 Shutout in Rebels Win Monday, August 16th , 2032 In an outstanding mound performance, Charleston Rebels starter Clark Nicholson fired a complete-game shutout against the New York City Baseball Club at NYC Field today. Nicholson was the key to the Rebels's 4-0 win. The 28-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 4 hits and no walks he allowed. "4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." In 23 starts this season Nicholson has notched a 6-8 record and a 5.25 ERA.
