25 Games in a Row for James Monday, September 20th , 2032 Stephen James, left fielder for the Oregon Ducks, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 2 hits in his club's 11-6 victory today over the Phoenix Firebirds at Ducks Stadium today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Stephen James flied out in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. This year James is hitting .323 with 16 home runs and 72 RBIs in 131 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .366 with 28 walks and 59 runs scored. |
