Voodoo Almanza and Armadillos O'Keefe Suspended for Fight Thursday, September 30th , 2032 Pete Almanza of the New Orleans Voodoo and Merrill O'Keefe of the San Antonio Armadillos received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Voodoo Field. Almanza is batting at a .270 pace this season, picking up 155 hits in 574 at-bats with 47 home runs, 95 RBIs and 93 runs scored. O'Keefe has made 28 starts, tossed 134 innings, struck out 86 batters and walked 42. His record is 7-10 with a 6.18 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .326 batting average. |
