Steelheads Advance to Elite Eight Series Sunday, October 10th , 2032 The Seattle Steelheads are heading to the Elite Eight Series, having narrowly defeated the Hollywood Stars. Seattle edged Hollywood in the series 2-1, with a win at Seattle Grounds in the clinching game by a 6-4 margin. Roberto Costa turned in a strong offensive performance for the Steelheads and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a World Championship Series win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Costa continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .444 with a .545 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 0 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Seattle Steelheads will play against the Eden Prairie Landsharks in the next round. Eden Prairie had a bye in the Top Ten Series.
