Spartans Prevail, as Elite Eight Series Goes to the Wire Wednesday, October 20th , 2032 The San Francisco Spartans and Charleston Rebels held nothing back in an entertaining Elite Eight Series that went the distance. In the end, it will be San Francisco advancing to the Final Four Series, after a 6-3 triumph in the final game at Salesforce Field, to wrap up the series 4-3. The Spartans players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Rebels. António Sánchez was named series MVP for San Francisco. For the series, Sánchez hit .346 with a .414 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The San Francisco Spartans will play against the Eden Prairie Landsharks in the next round. Eden Prairie won their series against the Seattle Steelheads 4 games to 2.
