Sunday, November 14th , 2032
Yordan Alvarez said he felt great coming into this year and expected a productive campaign.
But did the Hollywood Stars first baseman ever anticipate being named the winner of the 2032 Ruth Conference Most Valuable Player Award?
"Not a chance, I'm 35 years old, not exactly a spring chicken out there," he said. "I always felt I had a season like this in me, but still a surprise when it happens."
On the year, Yordan Alvarez posted a .313 batting average and a .398 on-base percentage. In 159 games he piled up 190 hits, 27 doubles, 1 triple, 49 home runs, 119 RBIs and 120 runs scored.
Ángelo Rosado of the Hollywood Stars finished second in voting, while Joseph Bower of the Atlanta Bandits finished third.
