Firebirds Star Receives Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, November 14th , 2032 Karl Thompson finished off a fine season by taking home the Ruth Conference Pitcher of the Year Award today. The Phoenix hurler went 14-8 on the year, posting a 2.93 ERA. Thompson also tallied 287 strikeouts in 193.1 innings and allowed opposing batters to hit only .205 against him. Pedro Robles of the Eden Prairie Landsharks finished second in voting, while Tony Berrios of the Eden Prairie Landsharks finished third. |
