Palo Alto-Cardiff Bay Brawl, Simmons and Frias Suspended Monday, April 11th , 2033 If there wasn't a history between Cliff Simmons of Palo Alto and Luis Frias of Cardiff Bay, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Simmons said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Presently Simmons is batting .381 with 8 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 3 runs and scored 2 times. |
