Great Stroke: Blake Gets 5 Hits Saturday, April 23rd , 2033 Austin Blake told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Blake of the San Antonio Armadillos did against the New Orleans Voodoo. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a 8-7 defeat. "Not much I can say," offered Blake in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Austin Blake singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
