League Suspends Arraez and Hernandez for Brawl Saturday, July 12th , 2025 Yesterday at Night Hawks Ballpark Luis Arraez and Carlos Ed. Hernandez got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Nevada Nighthawks and Cardiff Bay Barrage. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Arraez will have to sit out 4 while Hernandez would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. This year Arraez has 3 home runs and a .284 batting average. In 16 starts this season Hernandez has compiled a 5-6 record and a 4.34 ERA. |
