Hawks Lose By a Run at Cardiff Bay, 1-0
|
Ronald Simmons pitched well, but the Holbrook Hawks still lost the game, falling 1-0 to the Cardiff Bay Barrage at Barrage Field. The Hawks fall to 4-8 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2033 season.
The Barrage got a big at-bat from left fielder Tyler O'Neill. For the game, O'Neill was 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Cardiff Bay a 1-0 lead.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Holbrook skipper Keith Luuloa.
