Suárez Breezes to Shutout Victory Wednesday, August 11th , 2032 The Simsbury Pioneers posted a 8-0 shutout over the Hackensack Crooners today on the strength of a strong performance by Juan Suárez. The Pioneers pitcher held the Crooners to 3 hits while walking 4 and fanning 7 in the route-going win. "It feels good to be wearing a Simsbury Pioneers uniform today," the right-hander said following the game. This year Suárez has compiled a 7-4 record with a 2.96 ERA. |
